I am NOT a fan of electrical and our winter / beater / fun car had a bunch of electrical issues.

I was so dang proud of myself after we finished, that everything worked, car started nothing got screwed up or disabled i just wanted to share.

Took us 2.5 hours, my dad and I. ( took shifts under the dash, so yes i did alost of it myself not just him :p ) lol

Started by taken a few panels off so we can see what we're dealing with.

There was a bunch of wires (not all visible) that were wrapped around or spliced into stuff.

So we took off the lower dash panel . . . .

There was a main unit, box just stuck up there that had wires . . going . . EVERYWHERE

So we started to rip shit out, door pannels etc to trace all these wires.

Wires dropped over the doors, through, into the fog light switch, head light switch, fuse panel. WHAT A MESS

FINALLY got a bunch of those bastards out, as well as speakers that were held on by ONE zip tie, auto door locks that just locked whenever lol

My dad. Smile almost done lol

Gettin a lil closer

My dad just splicing in the last wire on the main harness

Much nicer

There WERE so many wires that you'd catch your toes on some when shifting:indifferent:

This was just what we tossed, there was like feet of wire we just kept, as well as the door lockers and speakers

AND . . . The before and after shot lol

Much happier with all that shit out. Not sure how the guy before me did that all.
Thanks for looking guys and gals:D

looks like my neon a fe weeks ago i had some issues decide to take it apart found a tracking unit hooked into a starter disable and alarm with the antennas up under the dash. ever since i removed it the car been running great no more issues.

want to do the clutch in my stealth twin turbo????? ive put it off till this winter as ive already been told to take it home after going down the track for its first time. so cage and larger turbos are in order this winter.
