Neon Canada Members Code of Conduct

1. Members shall behave in a positive social manner when at any club events or on any other club business. Some events and/or meets may require differing levels of behavior (IE language, noise levels, etc.) than other events.

2.Members shall not engage in any inappropriate vehicular operation at any time that may cause law enforcement to associate Neon Canada with illegal motor vehicle activity as set out by the Provinces Motor Vehicle Act. Racing is meant for the track and not the street.

3.Members shall treat other members and executive members with respect.

4.Members shall listen carefully and follow any guidelines set out for any club event.

5.Website and Forum:
A)Member’s are allowed only one Forum Name/Password and must register a valid email address.
Posting under secondary usernames or alias usernames other than your main account for any reason will not be tolerated. Members will only be allowed one user name and password. Creating a new account to replace an inactive account is fobidden. Impersonanating anyone in good standing is forbidden. Members must have a valid e-mail account in profile so a forum moderator or administration can reach you if the need presents itself.

B)Post only on the appropriate board.
Refer to the following descriptions of each board’s particular focus. Please keep your posts relevant, and refrain from posting the same information on multiple boards. Repeat offenders are subject to administrative action. “Spamming” the boards will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

C)Be courteous to other users.
Controversy is welcome as long as it presented with civility and maturity. As per the terms of the user agreement, you agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. This includes using creative spelling to go around the filters set in place on the forum. Repeat offenders are subject to administrative action. Name-calling, serious threats, and "flame wars" will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Also note that anything that would require a “work warning” should be posted in the Anything Goes forum.

D)Expect differing opinions.
If you post asking people for their feedback, be prepared to hear both positive and negative views. That is what message boards are for. If you can't stand to hear somebody say they don't like your car, don't ask what people think about it.

E)Solicitation of any kind is restricted.
No spamming or commercial solicitation of any kind. Any such messages will be removed at the discretion of either a forum moderator or administrator. Group buy topics maybe posted in the forum they most apply to. Only Neon Canada Sponsors are permitted to post commercial posts but they must be made in the appropriate forum. Use of Neon Canada facilities (IE forums and private messaging) for the purpose to solicit our members to join another car club/team is prohibited.

F)Posting of member’s personal information in strongly restricted.
Posting of member’s personal information is strong forbidden. This can include member’s home address, phone numbers, online message system information and also any personal discussions you’ve had with a member. If consent to post a private conversation is given, that must be presented within the message.

G)Illegal activity is forbidden.
Discussion of illegal activity is forbidden on Neon Canada forums or websites. Linking to offsite illegal information is also forbidden.

H)Avatar and signature image sizes.
Avatars are allowed to be a maximum of 160x100px, Signature banners may be a maximum of 500x100px.
Sexual Content is prohibited in Avatars & Signatures!
